Barcoding Quality Control Overview
Our Quality Control methodology is continually improved over time to meet with the ever changing and strict standards placed upon us by the industry. Our first line of QC starts when receiving large amounts of raw data through EDI or other electronic means. Our database programs report any irregularities with regard to fields and/or UPC data.
Once the tickets and labels are printed, a random scan is performed with an electronic handheld scanning device. As a final measurement of QC, during the cutting process, tickets are again pulled out at random to make certain that fields of data are not missing, all barcodes are scannable and human readables are clearly ledgable from any given ticket or label.
